What is Administrative tools in Windows XP Pro?
I use windows xp professional, in XP Pro, there is a special utility called administrative tools, i know how to get there, but what is it used for? i usually dont mess around there, but to me i think its a No-No because i am afraid i might mess up something....
is it safe to use it?
Control Panel>Administrative tools.
You are safe as long as you know what you are doing.
You can manage your disks, ODBC (something to do with Databases), firewalls, Task scheduler, event viewer etc. Most of them don't need tweaking. If you don't understand what you are doing, better not meddle.
