How to exit windows xp setup/installation?
hello the xp setup froze or something and when ever i restart it always goes back to it and says setup will complte in 39 minutes and it stays theere so i want to exit and and then just start all over anyone know how? thanks
If you are running a fresh installation, simply restarting your computer should clear it out, anything left behind will be overwritten next time you go into it. Just hold down the power button until the system shuts down.
The real question would be why it freezing though...for that, we'd probably need to know a bit more about the situation. Are you upgrading? Or, as I said, is it a fresh install? Or are you running a repair on an old install? In any event, it could very well be a hardware issue. Bad sectors on your hard drive could cause that one to happen, in which case you'd want to wipe your hard drive clean and start fresh.
