How can i connect my windows vista laptop to my xp desktop using remote desktop?
Laptop running windows vista ultimate
Desktop running windows xp home edition
both computers are network together so i can transfer files
on the xp machine - right click "my computer" in the window there will be a "remote" tab - go there and enable remote control - you will need to add credentials to a userid of the xp machine - then from the vista machine point your rdp client to the xp machne via the machine name or ip address and then supply the credentials that can remote control the xp machine.
