i tried downgrading vista to xp pro and it doesn't work. It seems like there is a lock to it. Is there any way to do it.
You have to completely reformat the drive in order to load anything outside of Vista. It has a totally separate type of boot environment that needs to be wiped off in order to load windows XP.
