If I install Windows 7 and my HDD crashes, do I have to buy a new copy?
I am getting win7 professional COA soon and i was wondering... if my HDD crashes will the COA not be valid for another install? I've been using a recovery disc of XP to reinstall when my comp crashes or i have to repartition and mess something up (happens a lot...) please help! Thanks!
no if your windows 7 is genuine then you should be able to activate it at least 3 times after 3 times you will have to ring Microsoft up and they will give you a telephone activation (but after that is successful you have another 3 serial goes again) so the answer my friend is no you will have to buy another copy of windows 7.
