Verizon FIOS / Windows XP Pro- fast file download, very slow web. What gives?
Any website I go to it would take anywhere from 12-15 sec to open the home page. After that the website can work fast or slow, there is no consistency. I have tried various speed tests, they all report different speeds. speedtest.verizon.com reports 15.4Mbps download, while miranda test shows 1.5Mbps If I try to download the a flat file the speed is around 15Mpbs, but internet is so slow. I have tried with different PCs and different routers, same thing.
