How to start XP home automatically after any power failure ?
Hello,
I work in a retail business and need the computer to be on all the time in order to receive incoming online orders.
After any unexpected electrical shutdown, the computer restarts but stops on users login name, waiting for the password. This is normal.
Is it possible to go over this step automatically and launch XP ???
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Both the previous responses are correct. Basically, if your system only has 1 user account defined (administrator and guest not included), and that user account doesn't have a password, it'll automatically log you in.
However, if you need to have multiple accounts created and you also need passwords to be present, you can still do it. Download the TweakUI tool from Microsoft (part of their XP powertoys). URL is here:

When you launch TweakUI, you'll see an option on the left hand side called Login -> Autologon. From there, you can tell the system to login automatically at startup using whatever username and password that you specify in the TweakUI tool.
