how i can install window xp over vista in hp g50 notebook?
i have hp g50 notebook. and there is pre installed window vista. i want to remove vista and i want to install window xp on it. please help me on this issue.
Why would you want to use a very old Operating System?
If it's because of speed and connection I can help you speed up Vista a lot.
It will be noticeably different not a perception thing but actually yes it is faster.
If this is what you want to do have a safer OS then XP and faster then post a new question.
However if you are not interested in doing that then you will want to fdisk and format the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) this will wipe out the data and the partition. Before you do this step make sure that you have the Install CD/DVD for XP and that you have the Key Code for it too.
Because if you boot from the disc drive it's going to take longer to run that OS XP. That is not a good option to really do, your limiting the OS by the speed of that CD/DVD ROM drive.
