Is MICROSOFT VISTA worth installing?
ive recently purchased a new computer (end of dec 2006) and it offered a free upgrade to windows vista once it comes out.
ive read a few advantages and some back-drops but im not sure if i should upgrade my windows XP MCE to the new vista.
others say its an overall better user experience. however, it may contain some bugs because it's relatively new and it prevents u from downloading media for the sake of piracy.
i cant seem to decide. i dont want to miss out on the chance of a free upgrade but dont want to risk my computer against potential bugs.

windows XP MCE is working great but im not sure if i should switch to vista.
If you use QuickBooks, or own lots of software and hardware, it might be wise to avoid Windows Vista for now. But if you are buying new hardware and/or software, it might be fun. You will learn Vista fairly fast by being an owner.
Many companies are holding off of Windows Vista, until it is clear that all of their equipment and software works properly with it.
Of course, you should get the FREE UPGRADE. Read the terms carefully, so you know how long you can delay the installation.... so you HAVE it.
