Can I repaire a licensed Windows XP Home Edition with another XP Home Edition with a different licence?
I have a preinstalled Windows XP Home Edition in my HP notebook computer. The control panel was somehow removed by some malware possibly by "fujacks". Now can I by another licensed Windows XP Home Edition and REPAIR the already preinstalled Windows XP Home Edition? If I can repaire then will the LICENCE of the already preinstalled Windows XP Home Edition remain as it is OR it will change to the linence of the new Windows XP Home Edition?
