Computer dummy again? (I've had no computer training and it's not available to me. I'm in southern Thailand)
With reference to my last question I've double ckecked. I definately have Widdows xp Professional. On My Computer on C it shows 7.79 GB total and 3.63 used (previous answers said this is impossible) and on D it shows 58.5GB total and 57.1GB used.
How do I add more space? How do I delete programs? If I trasfer data to a disk on D does it remove the data from the hard drive?
Okay from looking at this i agree this is impossible.
But i'll try and help but first lets list why it is impossible.
1. The c drive is always the the big of the 2 unless you added a hard drive .
2. The D drive is really just a area where your computer has backed up the starting files(the on that has all the files for when you reboot and restore){thats my understanding of it but if i be wrong tell me, even be very mean about it]}
Okay first we really need to know what do you have on you
computer: movies, games, other things.
Okay next we need to know whats the computer model( so we can look it up and see what it normaly has)
then If you have a cd burner i would do this.1 find all the file that are not very important. like text files and pictures and any exe( install progarm). 2 burn them to 2 disc. yes 2 in life you learn many things.(still wish i had all my photos from my family reuion)put one disc in a safe or somewhere way out of the way. Then delete the files off the computer.
If you don't have a disc burner then i may still be able to help i can give you a full version of winrar(not a trail) and 2 free gmail accounts(have over 2gb per account with 20 mb upload max per email but with the winrar you don't need to worry about the file size you can break the files into any size you want.
