How much would you say this desktop sells for?
I'm going to be moving away and I plan to sell my Windows XP desktop so I can just use my Vista laptop, but I've been wondering how much it's worth or what I can/should sell it for.
It's a Dell Optiplex GX270 with 17inch LCD XP Pro, which includes the following:
- 2.8 Pentium 4 Processor
- 512 memory (ram)
- 40 Gig hard drive which IS upgradeable
- Built in sound and video
- Nic card for high speed internet access
- Windows XP Pro service pack 2 installed with serial number
- dvd/cdrw - which can also burn music cds and data files
- 17inch Flat LCD screen
- Keyboard
- Mouse
I recently just wiped it clean of any malware, adware, spyware, viruses, ect. and took all my required files and programs/added software off it. It's practically new.
How much do you think I can sell it for?
The unit does not cost more than $85. That is just the tower. The screen can very in cost depending on what model it is but it probably will fairly low in cost too. Many people can get fairly powerful units for $300 that make yours look like a junk heap. As for the mouse and keyboard you can just throw them away as nobody in their right mind will want to reuse those grimy things.
