160GB H.D. and a 80GB H.D.in the same computer, How would i Install XP Home on the 80 & use the 160 for photo
re installing XP home sp2 on one computer before i do this should i install the other hard drive and fromat both H.D.s at the same time
i know nothing about IE on the HD or where to put the jumper
i know nothing about IDE or whrer to put the jumper on the H.D.
Well all you would do is format both, install XP on the 80GB, and then when you start windows and go to my explorer, you'll see the 160GB hard drive there, probably assigned the letter D. But if you don't have an OS installed on the 160GB, you wouldn't have to format it.
