How do I get the maximum resolution of my LG 32LC7D to be my desktop resolution on Windows XP Pro?
I connected my desktop PC's ATI HD2600XT using a DVI to HDMI cable. This was the best connection compared to VGA and component connectors. According to the tech info of my LG 32LC7D, the max resolution is 1366x768; however, my desktop setting is only 1360x768. When comparing the sharpness of text from a regular LCD screen to my LCD TV, there is an ever so slight blur or feeling of blur that I get when using my LCD TV. From the research that I've been able to do up till now, I've concluded that it may have something to do with the desktop resolution not matching the maximum resolution of the LCD TV. Can anyone give me a second opinion and any further info about this? I'd like to know if there is something I can do to make the text appear as sharp as it was on my 19" LCD monitor. My desktop resolution can go as high as 1920x1080 but the picture becomes dim, a little shaky, and sepia toned. I've tried all the other resolutions available and 1360x768 is the closest and best match.
