Problem with windows xp pro on vmware workstation ?
I'm using vmware workstation 7.0 or 7.1 and when I downloaded a video file it gave me the blue screen of death. Now the blue screen of death is gone but the problem I'm dealing with now is that a looking for hardware is always showing up. And at the beginning it says that it's not a real boot and that it has to load from c:/windows (in a black screen before the windows xp pro starts) Also I can access the internet on my windows 7 but not on my windows xp pro (vmware workstation) And the sound doesn't work. Unfortunately your VMware is showing signs of having been compremised with a virus. Run a full virus scan and see what comes up. If you cant get to the OS, it might need to be reinstalled.
