I have a computer running Windows XP and another one running Windows Vista. Is it possible for me to upgrade Windows XP to Vista by linking the two computers together and copying certain Vista files? If so, how?
no not really it depends on how you have the vista installation, if you have the disc its possible but you have to remember you arent supposed too, which means you'd have to find cracks etc to get it to work. Also be aware the vista is a lot harder to run, unless the xp computer has a modernish graphics card geforce 5000 series or higher end radeon 9000 series and 1gb RAM you'll likely experience problems, my advice is to leave it to be honest, you'll probably from time to time wish you kept xp on that computer because theirs a lot of programs vista has issues with.
