Windows Xp Ubcd
I need help with my dell Inspiron 5000 kyeboard and mouse drivers.?
ok details to put this simply my sister deleated my keyboard and mouse drivers! to try to fix this I reinstalled windows thinking that it would reinstall the drivers which makes sence because the drivers are a part of windows and were installed with windows when i installed xp. Well it didnt work... so now im stuck with a computer that is 1/2 way done with the windows setup. every time I have tryed booting a usb drive with windows on it but it seems my windows cd HATES usb hard drives and installs a corrupt verson every time (the cd works i have tryed it before (not the origonal cd I used to install win-xp the first time)) and my computer MOST of the time reuses to boot a usb device i need a way to install the drivers via somthing like a hardrive or boot cd. I am trying boot cds now they seem like my best bet im using ubcd ad my main boot cd it would be nice if i could get a user friendly boot cd OS like a cd version of win xp or somthing like that but it is not a requirement
drivers are not easy to find, especially free ones. For one, you have to get the right ones for the make and model of your computer, Mydownloads.com has some, and you might get lucky. Also, boot cd's are not easy to get, and are almost impossilbe to get for free. when I lost some of my drivers, I simply had to look for them on google and yahoo, until I found sites that gave them away for free, its a timely process, and not fun at all.
