Simple question about reformatting Windows xp?
hey i am going to reformat my computer and i have an external hard drive connected to it. if i follow these instructions on this website:

will it only reformat my C: not my external. if not how can i only reformat and wipe everything with a clean install of windows xp on my computer.
im reformating because i have a virus and it is soo corupt. i dont want to deal with all of it. so i just tell it to do drive C: and it will fix it?
When you run the installation CD, you can choose which disk you want to format, what file system you want to use (Windows XP only offers the NTFS option, but you can always run a Windows ME boot disk before hand and format using FAT32 file system).
I'd suggest that you should download the drivers BEFORE formatting. If you don't have all the drivers available after formatting, it could be a nightmare to be sorted.
