My Internet doesn't work in my Sony Vaio. i am running windows vista? why is this?
i am using a Sony Vaio and am running windows vista. there has been this problem....just out of nowhere the internet stopped working. i have wireless internet at home and the computer picks up wifi. but it isn't picking it up anymore. when i try to locate networks nothing appears. its as if no networks or signals are present, but there are. it just doesn't pick up internet anymore and neither does it work if i plug an ethernet cable. what can i do? i think its a driver things in the system. am no computer wiz, so i dont know what to do? but i try the trobleshooting options and i think its something with the driver and it tells me to update....but how can i update when i can't connect to internet....what can i do? where can i find this driver and download it through another computer and simply just transfer it? i really appreciate all your guys help....plus its an emergency because im going to take it out of the continent so if i dont fix it now, i woun't ever fix it. thank you
