How easy is it to fix an electrical failure in your car's power windows?
My car's [pwer windows are jacked up for some reason (primarily the front two - driver and passenger). Sometimes they'll work, and then a lot of times, the passenger window will not respond what=so-ever. Then sometimes, it will respond, except it won't immediately roll up when I want them too - usually its like I have to wait a few seconds before I try to power them on. How can I get this fixed? Or does anyone know the exact problem in where in the car the circuitry is deteriorating?
Hey don't make it difficult, a bad window switch, or motor. Very care fully take the inside door panel off. if you know what you are doing, jump the window switch, if every thing work right re place the window switch, if not then the window motor is going bad, it is not hard to change,just aggravating to get the motor out of the door, oh yes first check the hot feed and grounds. and remember that the right door window is also controlled by the driver side door switch. After you have check it out and have determined what is wrong, disconnect the battery be fore working on the switch or motor.
