I'm looking for the title of a book I read when I was a kid. I believe it was an Apple book. Details below...
I can't remember the story too well, but the cover had a girl looking out the window, seeing a man standing in the yard, holding a rake and staring at her. He looked pretty creepy. I think he was wearing a hat, standing next to a pile of leaves? It took place in the autumn and I think maybe it even had "autumn" or "fall" in the title or maybe even "Halloween" but I could be wrong. I think the story was about the girl thinking the neighbor was a psycho or something. I know this isn't a lot of information but I remember the book clearly. If anyone can help, I'd be forever greatful. It was a paperback book and I think it might have been an Apple Children's book. The cover I mentioned was probably only on the first edition and if it is still in print I'm sure it has changed. I believe it was published in the late 80s' or early 90s' as I remember reading it in elem. school. Thanks for your help!
