How can I check to see what type of RAM my laptop can read?
I bought a Sony VAIO NR series notebook last year and decided to upgrade my RAM. How do I know what my maximum RAM capacity is, and what type of RAM my laptop can read? I checked the manual, and it doesn't say much about it. I tried www.crucial.com, but apparently it only works for Windows XP computers, not Vista. Can somebody help me please! Thanks!
32 bit OS is around 3 gigs of ram
64 bit OS is 4 or over.
