I don't know much about these windows OS other then Windows 95/98 windows 98 and 98SE and a bit about windows xp which i never liked but anyway my computer came with windows 98 and believe it was manufactured in 2000 according to the date on the recovery cd's case. Can't do anything with windows 98 SE can't even use latest web browsers, and so many other unlimited things. Telling me need windows 2000 or higher to install this play that game etc.. Also windows 98 is no longer supported. What is the difference between windows 2000 and NT and which came first. Is Windows 2000 next after 98 and how long before microsoft will no longer support it. Looking for windows 2000 upgrade and can't pay a lot. Seems to be hard to find.
Win 2k is out of date and support should be at just about the end. NT came before 98 and is no longer supported. You may have to bite the bullet and go with XP. Just make sure you meet the min system requirements for it before installing. Otherwise, you will need to bite a much bigger bullit and bye a new system. Good luck.
