Windows Vista not installing driver software for Coby MP3 mp620-8GB?
According to the manual, Coby Media Manager is supposed to pop up for installation once I plug in my MP3 with a USB to the computer, but nothing happens. Instead, my computer refuses to download any drivers for it because it can't find a file for it. Even trying to update it to 'USB Mass Storage Device' won't work. The MP3 also didn't come with any disks for program installation. :/ Any tips for this?
Windows Vista is probably blocking it from seeing that option for security reasons. Have you tried to view the files on the player via My Computer? Then manually clicking and running the CMM. Also is the unit fully charged? I had issues when I was first installing my Zune, where the drivers would not be read, and after letting it be attached to the computer for about 4 hours, then removing and reattaching it the driver installation went off with out a hitch.
