I have XP on my computer I want to put in win 2000 pro how do I do this?
This is a bit complicated and I would not recommend it as many programs do not support Win2000 anymore. (I used to have them until some months ago).
a. Make sure you have all the drivers for motherboard, vga etc as Windows 2000 do not recognize hardware automatically
b. Backup your data as you will need to format your harddrive
c. Boot from the Win2000 cd and follow the instructions (you will need to reformat)
d. Install missing drivers starting from the motherboard.
