How does windows7 and vista work?
I have a vista laptop from last year, and I want to upgrade mine to windows7! The question is here, after I upgrade to window7, and laterly in the future I want to reinstall the whole system. The windows7 will still stay on or it's my old vista version and needs to upgrade it again??
If you upgrade to Windows 7 and then use the laptop manufacturers restore/rescue disks to reinstall, then you will be back to Vista.
Yes you would also need to upgrade again with your Windows 7 disks, and then any patches and updates from Microsoft.
