How do I format a laptop with Vista on it without Vista disk?
Trying to format hard drive to get rid of Vista but Vista seems to be preventing this. I tried changing the boot sequence to boot first from cd. Won't work. Tried with boot disk and with WinXp in rom but no go. If it were home computer would try to slave hard drive to another computer and remotely wipe it but don't want to be digging around inside a new laptop. More likely to ruin something.
try backup. example(nero backup creator). You should make a backup when the system perform correctly.
