i want to connect to the internet using the windows xp utility?
i have a Dell Inspiron 510m. i used always connect to my wireless network using the windows utility..........i needed a new hard drive and ever since i need a wireless card to connect to the internet .........can anyone help me connect to the internet not using a wireless card or any other devices.... thanks

Set Dell OFF.
Connect a Ethernet cable from the Dell to Internet modem.

Reset modem: Press & hold RESET button 10-20 secs.
Set Dell ON.
Dell:
START >> RUN >> cmd >> ipconfig /all
If IP Address == 0.0.0.0 >> ipconfig /release >> ipconfig /renew
If IP Address == 0.0.0.0 connect DESKTOP wired to router (if possible) or modem and attempt steps again.
