can i use a Fedora Installation disc to boot to Red Hat Enterprise 5 and use the Linux Rescue Utility?
i need to reset my grub password on my Redhat Enterprise 5 box but i lost my installation Cd's i have Fedora core 5 install cds, could i use those to boot ?
Sorry, but i am confused by you two lines
1) you lost grub password
2) can i boot using RHEL 5 cds.
I think either you dont know how to get to grub password.
or
You want to hack someone else grub.
as you dont need the cd to change or remove the grub password. You just need to boot, log as root adn edit grub.conf to remove or change the password.
