How to Use USB webcam on laptop with built in webcam?
The "MotionEye" webcam on my sony vaio doesn't work when skyping or using msn messenger webcamming.
I have a usb webcam... a Logitech brand webcam.
But when I skype or whatever, my laptop webcam starts playing, and it doesn't work, only transmits sound and my USB webcam doesn't activate.
How do I use the USB Logitech webcam instead of normal laptop webcam?

in Device Manager (control panel) disable your internal webcam and check if your usb webcam is recognized and enabled and if the proper drivers are installed.
Skype should then recognize the usb webcam
