Windows VISTA USB Port (Urgent)?

A while ago, my computer was infected with some sort of virus. We, thankfully, were able to get rid of it, using different sorts of Virus Software.
Ever since I became infected with this virus, my Disc Drive has stopped working. I'll insert any kind of disc, and it will say 'Please Insert a Disc into SD/MMC (E:)', even though there will be on in there.
Besides that fact, my USB ports (I guess that's what you call them), aren't recognizing anything except a mouse that I use. The printer is not being recognized, neither is my MP3 Player, my Video Camera, nor my Digital Camera.
All of these things have worked on my computer before. (Before the virus, I mean)
My computer is a Windows VAIO, uses Vista. I've had it for...two years, I believe.
Any help on how the fix this would be loved.
You can try downloading and installing the drivers off Sony's site.
However, I would just re-install windows. Make sure you back up your data first!
