how i can connect 2 laptops (Xp & vista) via usb adapter cable(i got very limited knowlege in network)?
Honestly? I would attempt a different connection than the one you are suggesting. Only reason, if you had to, use a USB cable from one computer to another is for data transfer. In that case you would want to by a USB Data Transfer Cable and Migration software or use the Windows CD and Run it to access the utility for free. (CD cannot be WIN XP HOME EDITION)
Easier way to connect both your computers is through a network using Ethenet Cable (cat5e or cat6). You will need a router and a internet connection. Let me know if you have any questions.
