I need some help??
Ok, yesterday we got Wildblue satalite internet installed, and they put it through my room, and they put two boxes next to my TV one is a refurbished linksys srx 200 (why they gave us refurbished stuff, idk.) And a Wildblue 9000 box thing.
They "claimed" that it was wireless, but when i unplug the laptop, it says that i can't get a signal! My desktop(the reason we got internet) is also not working! They said for us to go out and buy some foolish thing, which we did, it is a airlink 101 ultra slim usb 2.0 adapter 802.11g The computer is an alienware area 51, with vista. Is there a reason why this isn't working? The guy is comming back today, so i just wanted to see if i could fix it myself first... The guy also said that I have to fix it myself, WTF? My dad made him come back again..
Any ideas why it isn't working?
You need to configure the wireless router, then create a password, once you created the password, your computer/laptop will be able to search for it and detect it
