How do I install a CD Drive in a laptop?
My Dell Inspiron 9300 cannot detect the CD rewriter/DVD drive.
I've looked for the driver on the Dell site but I don't know what I'm looking for.
I've found the Samsung SN-324S Slim CDRW/DVD ROM Firmware, (I don't even know if that's the right drive), but this seems to be an update or something - whatever the case when I try to run the.exe file it says cannot detect drive.
Btw. I'm running XP and the only thing written on the drive is, Compact Disc Rewritable Ultra Speed DVD ROM
