Is it possible to add components (like ram/ graphics card) from a laptop onto a pc tower.?
Hi first question sorry if there is any mistakes. I am about to start building a pc and was wondering if I could take some componets out of my old broken laptop and use them in a desktop tower/rig to save a bit money? Please don't ask as I'm not sure what the laptop make was or what it's componets are. Thx...
If your building a PC from scratch why do you want to bother with old components?
Not only that, they are already out of date technology. Mixing old and new when building something is just asking for trouble and will cause you problems in the end.
Different if you are replacing a failed component on a PC already running because it's newer technology than it's replacing.
Also as someone remarked laptop and PC bits are not compatible.
