Video card question and MINI TOWER COMPUTER?
hello i want to get a video card like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150339
But i am afraid it might not fit into my computer, This is the kind of computer i have. Inspiron Desktop 518 Mini-tower: Intel Core 2 Quad processor Q8200 (4MB L2, 2.33GHz, 1333FSB) Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium .
My question is the computer is a mini tower, and there is a PCI EXPRESS x16 slot. IF it doesnt fit when i try to install it, can i try to go through the front of the tower? Removing cd rom, blah blah?
Im not going to settle for any thing smaller, because all good video cards these days come this size, and i will probally do what ever it takes to run one of these.. What you guys think?
I would say the easiest solution would be to buy a new case, that card wont fit in a mini tower.
