would updating this desktop work?
Someone has offered to sell me their old desktop tower for £35...it's four years old and its OS is Windows xp, but that's about all I know about it. I'm looking at getting something that I could upgrade to play fairly recent games on, and was wondering if this would work. I've looked online and am thinking about buying an Intel CPU Dual Core E5500 2.8GHZ along with a Gigabyte Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 4350 512MB GDDR2 PCI-E 2.0...as I'm unsure when it comes to CPUs and Graphics Cards...are these options any good? Would I be able to install them on a 4 year old machine, and will I be able to play games? I would probably upgrade the RAM as well. Thanks for any advice anyone may be able to offer. Not too bothered about having the games in a high setting...as long as the fps is playable.
