How can I wake up my laptop from sleep mode? I have a ThinkPad and use Windows XP.?
Every time it goes into sleep mode, no matter what key(s) I press, how many times I click my mouse, or if I hold the power button, it never wakes up. I always end up having to hold the power button until the laptop itself is completely shut off, and then turn it back on again. It's very annoying.
I would still like to be able to put my laptop in sleep mode, but is there a way that I can set something in Control Panel so I can wake up my laptop?
I went into Control Panel >> Performance and Maintenance >> Power Options and there are System Standby settings, only they are timers, not actually somewhere that you could select how to wake up the system.
Please help me!
