Why can't I log in as Admin. on Vista?
I recently created an admin. account (earlier today) and had to do a system restore and now I have Admin on a user in my hard drive and i can't access those files. It says I need special permission and i click continue and nothing happens. Administrator isn't an option as i log into windows. Maybe I should just fully reformat my drive and reinstall vista and drivers. I don't know how to do that but it's my next step if this doesn't get solved.

Choose the Repair Option in the Right Corner At the Tools Screen, choose System Restore
Pick the most recent Restore Point that was before you demoted your account. After the Restore Point is used, the account is back as Administrator.
