Whenever I try to open a video file, audio file, games like solitare or use skype in my windows 7 the?
I use windows 7. I upgraded it from windows vista. But this is a recurrent problem for me. Many time when i open a video/audio file or use IM's like skype or play microsoft games like solitare etc the browser/program gets hanged. I tried to formated my system twice and reloaded the OS but my problem persists. Can some one help me?

#2/use a 7200-rpm HDD for Sysyem C:/drive..
#3/use a Pentium Processor or higher..dual core processor
#4/use High Speed RAM..800-MHz..2-GBs..minimum/

It might be your Power Supply--try a 600-watt PSU/
If your Optical Drive is old..you may have a crappy--OS..intall process..
Purchase a New DVD Drive..
When you Re-Install your OS..complete that..and your FIRST-DRIVER..must be the Chipset Driver/..
I also use a Custom Setting for Virtual Memory--pagefile--500/700 SYS C:/drive only..add RAM if needed..
Remove any internal HDD that is used for storage..use Ext. USB 2.0/..
I use 80-GB HDD for SYS C:/drive..and Ext. Storage only..
Security Software can be a problem..be sure and allow the PC..too fully load all drivers..at Start-Up..
That's about all I can think of.
