HELP! Virus wont be deleted! Please Help!?
I have an IBM Thinkcentre S51 Series Type 8171 desktop and it is becoming a huge pain. I just installed an OS (windows xp professional) and when its done and i get it running, a virus is automatically coming up. I've done this so many times and i thought wiping the hard drive clean would delete any viruses. I use bitdefender total security 2009 to try to delete it but its not working. it notices it as clean software. What do i do? I cant delete the virus! Should i get a new hard drive? or is the virus living in my computer forever? or does it live in the ram? I've formatted and reinstalled windows about 10 times now and the same thing happens everytime. i dont know how to delete these viruses. It has so many. I just bought this desktop and its giving me problems with this virus crap. please help!
