And the infrared one works depending one the same technology with remote control which has a drawback that it needs to be used under the condition of a direct sight to the listeners and any prevention in its path to listeners will reduce the sound.
Although so many benefits it has, some disadvantages also can be found out of it. Some products of this kind also need wire to connect to power sources, so they are not completely wireless ones. You can choose wireless speakers which use batteries, but the power is easy to be used up and batteries should be changed frequently. Another point is that it is easy to be interfered, though it has clearer sound effect than others under the normal condition. And wireless speaker has a more expensive than other types now. At last, the application of wireless speaker is limited into a small range, but it is believed to extend the limited the range a lot in the future with the fast development of wireless technology.
