Remote Desktop: MCE 2005?
I have tried EVERYTHING to enable Remote Desktop so I can access my computer from school. I enable remote connection, wrote down my ip and everything, opened up ports 3389 and 80 on my router etc. I use an actiontec router and I get to my computer through the wireless network. The error I keep getting when I type in my ip is "Remote Desktop Disconnected" giving me the message that either my comp is not enable for remote desktop, too many connections (its sitting at home) or a network problem. Can someone help me through this or have some sort of picture guide or automated thing? Please help me!
Might be that the school is denying access to port 3389. Schools can disable many outgoing port ranges to secure their network. I would also recommend going to this site (while you are at home) and see if you can see open or in use ports from the outside world into your machine.

Type in the 3389 port and do User Specific Custom Port Probe.
If that site sees it open then the issue is your school blocking it.
