Hi, my friend has Windows XP, and i have Windows Vista.
They know absolutely nothing about pc's and i want to show them remotely how to transfer pictures from their camera to the hard drive.
Do Vista and XP play nicely using remote desktop? and what is the easiest way for us to set this up?
It works easily locally as far as I know, so I'd imagine it does in the way you describe.
Go to;
Remote Desktop Connection>Options>Advanced>Connect from anywhere,
and follow those instructions.
