Hey all! I went through the steps to connect to my work PC from home. However when connected I found I was connected to our server instead of my personal workstation. How do I connect to my work station and not my server? I really need to get some work done. THANKS ^_^
I went to whatsmyipaddress.com on my workstation, used this address for the login info for remote connection but it took me to the server.
Your pc is probably behind a router, not a server that gives NAT addresses...so your address is probably not accessible from home.. behind firewalls most likely.
