Are refurbished computers bad?
First my HP M8400F is a refurbished computer...
I've owned it since 2008 and it's been working fine.
I need to buy a new computer with higher performance. I found good deals that bestbuy is selling locally, they are refurbished HP's including windows 7 and it's a 64bit operating system with 8GB ram and some other good stuff.... just checking if refurbished is a big deal or not.
in my humble opinion you have about a 90% chance of getting a good one and 10% chance of getting crap !
also most only come with a 30 day warranty ( if you're lucky maybe a 90 day warranty )
so if you have trouble then try to get it fixed or replaced right away
also check what the new price for a comparable one is and if you are not saving much .. forget it and go with the new one .
or build your own system
