How to use Windows Recovery disk when computer won't boot?
I got a recovery disk from Dell because my Windows Vista Laptop wouldn't start up. Whenever i turn it on, it gives me the option to start recovery mode or use windows normally. Either way, an error message comes up saying SHELL32 is not found. When I insert the recovery disk, nothing changes. How can i make the recovery disk work?
Go into the BIOS then set the preferred start up device then pick CD drive.
