I have a PC with 128MB ram. And i would like to install ubuntu in it.could any one tell me will it work well?
I have a pc with 128mb ram, iwant to try ubuntu in it.But i read that ubuntu needs atleast of 512MB. So what could i do?.In my pc windowsxp and windows 2000 pro are installed.If it is possible , tell me how to format both the operating system and install only ubuntu in it.The other problem is, now i am using only xp sp1, but some web pages wont show correctly.and when I open the windows 2000 it tries to shut down.could u tell me how to format both windows xp and 2000 and install only linux software in it?
Xp is ok with 128mb ram, almost everything else needs more memory. To find what kind your pc could use, there is a great tool many people use at Crucial.com.
To install only Ubuntu, or XP, boot from the CD and select the delete partion option. It will then wipe out the drive, and format it with your one OS.
