shall i build xp or vista PC?
i want to build my first ever pc system for personal use like word typing, internet, email, uploads digital cam videos, store loads and loads of pictures from photo album (really HUGE).
i have come up with the following spec
ECS M860 motherboard
AMD Athlon 2800
Midi Tower 400W ATX
512MB DDR333 PC2700 MEMORY
WD Caviar hard drive - 80 GB - ATA-100
Samsung 52x CDRW
Sapphire Radeon 9250 AGP Graphics Card -256MB
will the motherboard, processor, and RAM work well together?
shall i use the heatsink and fan included in the processor box or use the ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro CPU COOLER?
i also plan to use a 80GB hard drive for win XP and applications and a 320gb hard drive for data? is that good or bad?
or what processor and motherboard MODEL would you recommend?
any comments or suggestiions, please?
I think you should build a vista pc. It is better than xp, but you have to get used to the new vista settings.
