whats the fasted type of DDR-RAM I can put in my PC?
I have a Dell Dimension 4600 I haven't upgraded it much besides adding 2 more 512's to the other 2 512's making 2048mb's of DDR-RAM the mother board has a max of 4gigs so finding the memory size won't be a problem I wanna know whats the fastest type of DDR thats compatible. I have no Idea what speed the RAM i have now is but I'd like something faster.
u have ddr 1 ram called sdram, that the only kind u can put in that mobo, faster ram ddr 2 ddr 3, u can't use.
